Solution: Hydropower

Problem

oil and coal is very difficult to reach and obtain because it is usually deeply deposited in the ground. One way that  they solved this problem is with the use of hydro-electric dams which eliminates the need to drill in the energy.

Pros

Cons

  • water is free
  • it's very renewable
  • water dams once built last a long time
  • when enough energy is provided you can easily turn off the power generator
  • the cost to build the  dams are very costly to build
  • the dams also have to be build to very high standards
  • droughts can affect the energy output

The National hydro-power Association have a range of turbines from small to large and have service and equipment providers that provide goods and services used throughout the entire supply chain. the effectiveness if hydro power is that it eliminates the need for digging in the ground because it delivers a new source of energy.
